The Challenge
We were required to develop and implement a solution that streamlines and improves the management of a project after the many meetings that take place between the team members and that what is discussed is transferred to the project with the greatest agility.
| The Outcome
Our solution represents a significant advance in the way in which the recordings of work meetings are managed and analyzed, ordering, organizing and prioritizing the team’s findings for easy transfer to the project management model. It thus becomes a powerful tool for project planning and governance.
How we did it
This is an innovative challenge that focuses on the application of advanced speech-to-text (STT) techniques, such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Diarization.
- ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition): using this technology, we convert human speech into written text. Sophisticated algorithms are used to interpret and transcribe the spoken words.
- Diarization: this technique identifies and segments the utterances of different speakers in the audio recording. This is crucial to generate summaries and documentation that accurately reflects the discussion.
To facilitate their use, we created a REST API that allows these technologies to be integrated into existing systems.
This REST API allows different applications to communicate with each other over the network. And, in this case, it allows the systems that manage the recordings of the follow-up meetings of a project to send audio files and receive the corresponding transcripts, including the identification of the speakers and the actions to be taken in the management of the project.
