The Challenge
One of the main energy operators in Spain requires a comprehensive management system to facilitate its operation. It must also include aspects such as activity management, life cycle, equipment inventory, document management and electronic signature.
| The Outcome
All business processes were integrated into a single application, discontinuing an obsolete tool and without impacting service continuity. Improved team productivity by eliminating or automating low value-added tasks.
How we did it
- Analysis of the business needs of the technical department, conducting various sessions of Inception, UX, UI for the creation of a functional roadmap of the project.
- Delivery of a fully functional MVP in less than six months.
- Product evolution and maintenance.
The main technical challenge was to implement an Open Source development technology based on Java/Spring and allowing users to work with a document storage solution (based on Linux) transparently with their usual office tools.
LAUDE undertook the project using an agile team of four developers and a UX engineer, with a Scrum Master assigned.
